Here’s what you can expect during our first call together
The goals of the first meeting are:
- Get a better understanding of the areas that you’re looking for help with to make sure that we’re the right option for you. After all, you wouldn’t see a dermatologist for a heart problem!
- Give straightforward answers to any remaining questions that you have for us about our financial planning process, experience, types of clients we work with, fees, or anything else on your mind.
A few other important things to know:
- Don’t worry about bringing any account statements, tax returns, or other financial data just yet. We’re interested in getting to know YOU first, and what your biggest concerns and goals are. If we decide that we want to work together, then we’ll send over a list of the information that we’ll need to put together a financial plan for you once we’re more familiar with your situation. If not, then we’ll do what we can to match you up with another firm that might be a better option for your circumstances.
- If you are married or have a long-term partner with combined finances, we strongly recommend that both of you attend that intro meeting. We believe that it’s important for both members of a couple to have the opportunity to ask questions and provide input on decisions.
- There’s no obligation, and no awkward sales pitch. If we’re not the right fit for you, then we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.
- Before scheduling, you may want to review key info on our site such as the FAQ page, services page, and pricing calculator. That will allow us to spend most of our time together talking about you and the things that matter most.

IMPORTANT: It’s not uncommon for our calendar below to have limited availability, and sometimes we have a waiting list.
We intentionally limit the number of introductory calls each week to make sure we’re able to provide a high level of service to current clients who have entrusted us to help them.
